Regulatory Compliance

Boilers and pressure vessels are regulated by each state in addition to the regulation of emissions mandated by the Federal Clean Air Act Amendments. The EPA finalized changes to the Clean Air Act standards for Area Source boilers and Major Source boilers. Additionally, all major source boilers and process heaters are subject to a work practice standard to periodically conduct tune-ups of boilers and process heaters.
